ABS Cylinders manufactures high-quality hydraulic cylinders for industrial, maritime and offshore applications. At our site in Veendam, our experienced team works on bespoke products, with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.
We are looking for an experienced Conventional Turner (m/f) who can work independently, has technical insight and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
What will you do?
- Carrying out machining operations on a conventional lathe
- Manufacture of hydraulic cylinder components to high quality standards
- Carrying out routine maintenance on the machine
- Performance of general production tasks
What are we looking for?
- Able to read drawings
- A good understanding of how the various machines and materials work
- Has a good command of various measurement techniques and is able to use measuring instruments.
- Works meticulously and in a structured manner.
- Enthusiastic, able to work as part of a team, meticulous, and flexible
